What do I do?

It's getting worse but what do I do? No obstacle is too tough yet by my strength I fail. Where is my help? Must I go wondering? How do I find my help? Or is there even hope? All I see are promises that have yet to come true. When will the time come where my help comes; where promises are made whole?

I am desperate, I cannot rely on myself for I am weak and weary, lost and down. I am reaching out or am I? I want to reach out, yet I pull my own hand back.

I feel stained, tainted, unclean. I want to go back to those days of purity and innocence. How can I find my way back there? The path of righteousness is truly narrow. Often I find myself on the easy way out yet I desire to be on the other path. I need a way back to the other path.

Guide me back, please. I fear of spiralling out of control and into a web of deceit, darkness and sin. For it is not pleasing to You and out of love, I must overcome. My plea is that You give me the strength, wisdom and understanding to pull through. For it is not by my strength nor power but by Yours will I overcome.
