Saturday
Sunday, October 17, 2010 12:08 AM

It was turning out to be a chilling and relaxing Saturday where all I did was watch episodes after episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender but then I had to leave for SALT (Saturday Afternoon Leader's Training) which was rather fruitful and an awesome experience.

As usual Pastor Kenneth delivered a really applicable and realistic message about how if you want to make a change in your life (like overcome sinful habits etc) you just have to change your, for a lack of a better word, schedule. Your everyday routines within the hour determines whether you're gonna change or remain in sin. Well it has always been said, if you want to overcome your sinful ways just love God more or read His word more. However to most of us, we love God. Take King Solomon as an example. The bible clearly states that he love God and yet he still fall into sin. We fall because of our everyday routine. Change it and you'll find your sinful habits going.
If you have problems with a foul mouth, don't expect just reading His word will magically make your words turn sweet. You have to make the effort to stop speaking such language and only then will you see results.

Anyway after SALT, I went home and got ready for soccer. It started off really badly. Lol. We were all worn out ten minutes into the game. I think it's the weather seriously. The last time we had a similar incident to this was when the temperatures were sky-rocketing. Anyway, everything was going fine until Edmund broke his arm. Man it was really shocking when you see it in real life compared to just hearing it without seeing. His arm was clearly broken but good thing there weren't bones sticking out and blood oozing out. I guess you could call that a fracture.

We called the ambulance and got him to NUH. Right now he's in A&E and should be doing fine. His parents are with him as well as some of his friends namely, Bayu, Paul and Ferry (I think I spelt it right).

That just brought the all time high to a new low. It was a sucky feeling waiting for the ambulance. I was at the entrance looking out for the ambulance and while I did wait, it just sucked real badly.

Anyway next week will be a rough one. The first three days will be challenging and I might have to do some over time in camp. Sucks right. It's ok you can agree, MINDEF isn't going to come after you. At most they'll come after me. Should I even be saying this? Lol.

Oh yeah on Friday I had a decent dinner. I figure that's all I need to say right? Haha.
