Super Sunday
Monday, August 2, 2010 6:13 PM

Yes, I had a super Sunday last week and it really spurred me on! Well, just a little background info, last Sunday I had the honour of serving for two services. One at Acts Centre and of cause, the other at church.

It was really an awesome experience, being able to lead people into God's inner courts. At first I was a little nervous cause the place at Acts Centre was huge and the stage, set-up was super cool! It really felt like a concert. There was even a amp dedicated for me and etc.
For the first time I really could hear all me (through that amp). Though I didn't use the effects on the amp, I simply by-passed it, it was useful cause I could hear what I was playing.
However being behind the speakers wasn't so good cause I couldn't hear what was going on 'live'. All I heard was through monitors and I couldn't make up how loud I really was. So being inexperienced and since I kept turning my volume down during slower songs. Also cause I was so loud and I had to play so sensitively which really is hard.

Anyway the quickest way to learn is through experiences right? so I do hope I get more opportunities like this in the future.

One problem now is that. I keep focusing on music but never on God during worship. How do I change that? Man, if only the answers were right in front of me. I guess I'll have to find them right? PUSH-ing again huh.
