Weee~ that was fun. The national day celebration was fun but not the before and after the celebrations. It was blazing hot while waiting for the celebrations to begin and I slept for like 15-20 minutes in the hot sun. Isn't that army amazing?
Well After the celebrations it wasn't all smooth sailing at all due to the closure of one of the three nearby mrt stations. So there was major human jam all over the place towards City Hall. It was really chaotic and people were pushing and rushing and STEPPING ON MY SLIPPER!

It was really irritating and that is why this year's NDP is my last. I have been to 2 so I'm quite pleased with that. I rather watch it in the comfort of my house. Where no one can step on my slippers.
We ended up at the food court at Raffles City and after dinner the crowd had subside so we went home.
I have to say, the quality of the show is improving. Along side with the army's assets. The light show was outstanding and not to mention the floats this time around were also fantastic. LED lights were everywhere and not to mention the fireworks display.

The air force's F-15s and F-16s also put on head turning show as well. Though they fascinated the crowd with stunning evasive manoeuvres, it was still lacking. Well mainly cause they did it one time and that was it.
If people looked down for a moment that was it, they would have missed everything. There should be more areal displays and more manoeuvres done by the F-15s maybe even put some helicopters into play. Why let the Apache go to waste!

All in all, it was really nice however as I have said, I'm not going back ever. I had my fair share of shows and ta dah that is it.
