Half way through?
Sunday, May 9, 2010 10:49 AM

Seems fast eh? 3 weeks have gone and the 4th is coming very soon. It's gonna be 'field camp' week but I guess it should be called 'going to the field to play' week instead. The only time I'm going to spend out overnight in the 'jungle' is going to be on Thursday night. That's when I'm going to do some urban fighting stuff.
Other than that, it's going to be afternoon in the jungle till night. Then it's back to camp and to my bed. In fact you gotta love the new syllabus of the SCS. As someone told me, it's like going to a chalet. Well I'm not complaining any more, after all, after one full day of outfield activities I get a rather 'slack' day. With the exception of next week that is.
I've gotten my supplies for about the next 4 weeks in camp, with all the snacks and stuff. I really do hope that they last-bunkmates can be hungry. Shockingly, I managed to spend like $79 at the supermart. My mom only gave me $50 but I thought it wouldn't be fair if she had to pay me back the $29 so I just paid the rest (as if I had a choice, I was the only one at the cashier).
Imagine what I could have done with that $79, I could have bought another nice pair of jeans from Zara and send it for alteration as well. Speaking of jeans ... nah, maybe next month. Haha.

This weekend is rather short cause I booked out only on Saturday afternoon and I really had to do lots of stuff like cut my hair, going out with my grandma and family, going for music practice and youth so my Saturday was burnt and today is book-in day! So fast right?
I can only hope for a longer weekend next week but it looks bleak as I already have many plans on Saturday which doesn't really involve my friends.

I wish weekends were the 5 days and weekdays were the 2 days in a week. I'm also still in the middle of the book Shutter Island. Well I already have watched the movie so I know the story already but the book is still awesome! It has more details which were left out of the movie so yeah I'm just picking up the leftovers. And Shihui, yes he's nuts! In the end he didn't manage to recover so he's still nuts. I'll remind you again when I'm officially done with it.

Another good thing is that during the weekdays, it has been raining a lot so yeah the weather is not too bad. It cools the hot afternoon sun. However hopefully it doesn't rain so often next week when I'm in the jungle. Otherwise it's going to be one slippery ride as I experienced first hand last week when I ate mud quite a number of times.
Doesn't taste good at all.

Anyway gotta keep praying for my posting.
